The RC-9000 is designed to be a remote control head for the TDFM-9000 series of airborne transceivers. It is a secondary (slave) control point and it is not intended to replace the function of the front panel of the radio. It uses an RS-232 protocol to communicate with the radio. The controller is standard Dzus mount and is 4.5 inches in height and 1.3 inches in depth. Weight is 16 oz. Backlighting is 28VDC or 5VAC (software controlled).
